Alexandra Gago da Câmara

Alexandra Gago da Câmara, born in Lisbon, has a Ph.D. in Modern Art History at Universidade Aberta, where she is an assistant professor.

She is an integrated researcher at the Center for the History of Art and Artistic Research at the University of Évora (CHAIA), a collaborator at the Center for Research and Technology of Arts at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (CITAR), and also a collaborator at the Art History Institute at Faculdade de Letras of the University of Lisbon (ARTIS – Tile Research Network).

Her main field of research is the 18th century, particularly that of the relationship between tiles and Portuguese culture. In this context, he has published several studies and held conferences in Portugal and abroad.
